A La Carte Calling Features
Call Trace -- $3.00 / each trace
Activation Code: *57. Allows the subscriber to dial a special code to evoke trace to handle annoying or harassing calls. The customer will be directed to call Comcast security at 800-871-6298. The customer must provide this number to their local law enforcement authorities for further investigation.

Three way calling -- $3.00 / mo
Activation Code: Flash. Three-way calling permits the subscriber to add a third party to an existing connection, thereby establishing a three-way conference call.

Speed Dial 8 -- $3.00 / mo
Activation Code: *74. Speed Dial 8 allows a subscriber to establish a connection to a customer defined list of directory numbers by dialing a one digit code instead of seven to ten digits.

Speed Dial 30 -- $3.00 / mo
Activation Code: *75. Speed Dial 30 allows a subscriber to establish a connection to a customer defined list of directory numbers by dialing a one or two digit code instead of seven to ten digits.

Call Return* -- $3.00 / mo --OR-- $0.75 per use
Activation Code: *69. Block use of Call Return Activation Code: *89. Call Return provides the customer with the telephone number of the last person that called him and also gives him the option to be connected to that number. If the customer subscribes to the $3.00 monthly recurring charge, there is no per use charge. If the customer does not have the monthly recurring charge, this feature is charged at $0.75 per use to a maximum charge of $3.75/month with no limit to usage.

Call Waiting -- $3.00 / mo
Activation Code: Flash. Deactivation Code: *70. When the customer is on the phone, this feature notifies the customer of a second incoming call. The customer can then place the first call on hold and answer the second call.

Caller ID -- $6.00 / mo
Activation Code: Flash. Caller ID provides an incoming telephone number AND a listed name on a customer-provided display device attached to the customer’s (called party’s) line or set.

Caller ID with Call Waiting -- Included w/ purchase of Call Waiting and Caller ID
Activation Code: Flash. Caller ID with Call Waiting allows the customer to receive caller ID information even when they are on the phone. The customer must subscribe to both Call Waiting and Caller ID and have a CID unit that accommodates Caller ID with Call Waiting.

Call Screening -- $3.00 / mo
Activation Code: *60. Deactivation Code: *80. Allows the customer to pre-select specific telephone numbers (10), which will be directed to a message stating, “The customer you are trying to reach is not currently receiving calls.”

Anonymous Call Rejection -- $1.75 / mo
Activation Code: *77. Deactivation Code: *87. Allows subscribers to reject calls from callers who have blocked their caller ID information. The caller will be given a message that requests them to de-activate their caller ID blocking in order to complete their call.

Caller ID Blocking – Per Use, no charge
Activation Code: *82. Allows subscribers to permanently block the display of their telephone number/name to all Caller ID display devices.

Caller ID Blocking – Per Call, no charge (already on line)
Activation Code: *67. Allows subscribers to block the display of their name/number to the person they are calling by dialing a code before placing their call. This only blocks CID information when the code is dialed before placing the call.

Custom Ring (Previously known as Distinctive Ring) -- $3.00
This service enables the customer to have two telephone numbers associated with a single line. Customers can receive an optional Custom Ring Directory Listing.

Distinctive Ring (Previously known as Priority Ring) -- $3.00
The customer may build and maintain a list of up to 15 telephone numbers to differentiate these callers from all other callers. The customer will receive a special ring when he or she receives a call from any of the 15 numbers on the list. The regular ring tone will occur with any calls placed from non-Distinctive Ring numbers.

Call Forwarding -- $3.00 / mo each
1) Selective -- Provides forwarding capabilities. Forwards only a list of up to 10 selected numbers.
2) Variable -- Provides forwarding capabilities. Forwards all calls upon activation.

Repeat Dialing -- $3.00 / mo --OR-- $0.75 per use
Allows the subscriber to automatically redial a telephone number when the first attempt reaches a busy number. This feature will retry the number for 30 minutes, or until the customer deactivates the feature. When the number becomes available, the customer will be alerted by a special ring tone. If the customer subscribes to the $3.00 monthly recurring charge, there is no per use charge. If the customer does not have the $3.00 monthly recurring charge, this feature is charged at $0.75 per use to a maximum charge of $3.75/month with no limit to usage.

Voicemail Packages
Basic Voicemail -- $5.95 /mo
This service allows callers to leave personal messages whenever the customer’s line is busy or goes unanswered. FEATURES: 30 message capacity, Interrupt dial tone alert, 4 minutes for each incoming message, 1.5 minutes for outgoing greeting, 15 days maximum message retention, Cannot send message.

Deluxe Voicemail -- $9.95 / mo
This service allows callers to leave personal messages for up to 4 different mailboxes, provides the ability to leave longer messages and have the customer store them longer. FEATURES: 45 message capacity, Interrupt dial tone alert, 5 minutes for each incoming message, 2 minutes for outgoing greeting, 31 days maximum message retention, Can send message, Pager Notification, 3 extension mail boxes, No reminder service at this time.

Call types are determined first by mileage, second by LATA, then by State and National boundaries.

According to Pacific Bell White Pages:

(1) A Local Call (Zone 1 and Zone 2) is a call that is made to numbers that are from 0 miles to 12 miles. (NOTE: Zone 1 is 0 to 8 miles, and Zone 2 is 9 to 12 miles.)

(2) A Zone 3 Call is a call made to numbers that are from 13 miles to 16 miles.

(3) A Local Toll Call (also known as an IntraLATA Call) is a call made to numbers beyond your Local Call (0-12 miles) and Zone 3 (13-16 miles) calling area but within your Service Area, also known as LATA (Local Access Transport Area). California is divided into 10 Service Areas (LATAs). (4) A Long Distance Call is a call made to numbers that are outside your Service Area (LATA).
